With that in mind, let’s take a glance at diabetes statistics, especially in children from the U.S. As of 2020 new diagnosed cases of type 1 and type 2 diabetes have significantly increased among US youth. Children 10 to 19 years, incidence of type 2 diabetes remained stable among non-Hispanic whites and increased for all others, especially non-Hispanic blacks.
Since the pandemic there has been a reported 20% increase in diabetes, type 1 and 2. Endocrinologists from around the U.S. have been wondering if COVID attacks the beta cells of the pancreas which makes insulin.
Physicians advise not to wait until the point of severe acidosis. Alkalosis is a pH level of 7.45 or higher. Disease and Cancer thrives in a body that is acidic. The two types of acidosis are Respiratory and Metabolic. Respiratory acidosis is when too much CO2 builds up in the lungs a direct connection to obesity, high alcohol consumption. Chronic drinking can increase the buildup of lactic acid. This is why an alkaline diet is important but certainly not a cure-all. A plant based diet, eating low glycemic helps however there is no case study evidence proving that an alkaline diet will prevent acidosis. Your body’s pH levels must be in check for optimal health, and again we have no scientific proof that the alkaline diet will prevent Disease and Cancer.
Preventative tips are a low glycemic diet including low in carbs. Metabolic acidosis begins in the kidneys (not the lungs) when your body can no longer eliminate acid. Preventative tips are seasonal organ cleanses, which is easily achieved with the help of a holistic nutritionist that uses herbs and proper nutrition to rid the body of toxins.
