We’re THRILLED to offer Our Positive Nut’s Raw Vegan and Vegan Cooking Classes this summer. Learn about a plant–based lifestyle with Wendy, a Certified Raw Food Chef (Level 1) through Alissa Cohen. She is also a certified plant-based educator through eCornell’s nutrition course which was created by the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies-where she earned 30 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (CMEs) during this six – week course.
Wendy is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist specializing in educating about the harmful effects of GMO’s and endocrine disruptors. Many parents STRUGGLE with getting their children to try anything new. Her informative classes will help you understand the importance of diet and proper nutrition for your life. We offer these home-based classes to the individual, mommy & me, family, or group of friends in a casual setting. For larger groups we will arrange private rental space at a local chef’s working kitchen.

• Cheeses. Learn to create a wide range of raw nut and seed cheeses that look and taste like the dairy counterparts.
• Kombucha. Master this fuzzy fermented elixir that is delicious and healthy.
• Ice Creams. Using alternative sweeteners, novel methods and creative flavor combinations, you’ll learn everything you need to learn about creating those creamy ice creams and frozen desserts.
